I'm having issues with transferring to centralized exchanges and withdrawing from my Vault.
If you're experiencing issues moving funds from your World App, select the scenario that best matches your situation below.
-
Issues Transferring to a Centralized Exchange
My transaction shows as completed, but the funds have not arrived
Transactions marked as Completed in World App and/or on the blockchain may take some time to appear in the destination wallet or address.
Please allow up to 48 hours and check again. If the funds have not arrived after this period, contact the destination wallet or centralized exchange’s support team for further assistance.
What should I do if I sent funds to a Centralized Exchange?
If you’ve sent funds from your World App to a Centralized Exchange, contact the exchange directly for assistance in recovering the transaction. Once funds are sent, only the recipient can retrieve them, depending on the exchange’s token recovery policy and supported networks.
To avoid issues in the future, always make sure that the asset and network are supported before making transfers. Sending unsupported tokens may result in permanent loss of funds.

What are some troubleshooting steps that I can take for World App issues?
We understand that encountering issues with World App can be frustrating. To help you resolve these problems quickly, we recommend you going through our troubleshooting steps. Each step is designed to address common issues and ensure that your app is running smoothly.
Let’s go through these steps together to understand what each one is trying to accomplish.
1. Disable Secondary SIM on Dual-SIM Devices
Purpose: If you’re using a dual-SIM device, it’s possible that the SIM not connected to the internet could be causing conflicts. By disabling the secondary SIM, you ensure that your device is using the correct connection for World App.
What to do: Go to your device’s settings and disable the SIM card you’re not using for data.
2. Double Check Your Internet Connection
Purpose: A stable internet connection is essential for World App to function properly. If your connection is weak, the app may not work as expected.
What to do: Ensure that you are connected to a reliable WiFi network or that your mobile data is working correctly. You can also try switching between WiFi and mobile data.
3. Verify App Source
Purpose: To ensure the security and integrity of World App, it’s important that it is downloaded from an official source, such as the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android).
What to do: Double-check that you downloaded the app from the official App Store or Play Store. If not, uninstall the app and reinstall it from the correct source. You can download the latest app version from here: https://world.org/?download
4. Check for Operating System Updates
Purpose: Outdated operating systems can cause compatibility issues with the app. Keeping your device’s OS up to date ensures that all features work correctly.
What to do: Go to your device’s settings, check for software updates, and install any available updates. You can verify this by authenticating in the Play Store or App Store.
5. Ensure Device Software Is Up to Date
Purpose: In addition to the operating system, your device’s software must be up to date to avoid potential conflicts or bugs.
What to do: Regularly check for and install updates for both your device’s operating system and any related software.
6. Force Quit the App
Purpose: Sometimes, apps can get stuck or unresponsive. Force quitting the app can refresh it and clear any temporary issues.
What to do: Swipe up on the app preview from the app switcher, or press the home button twice and swipe up on the app preview.
7. Switch Internet Connection
Purpose: Switching from mobile data to Wi-Fi (or vice versa) can help determine if the issue is related to your current network connection.
What to do: If you’re using mobile data, switch to Wi-Fi and see if the issue persists. If you’re on Wi-Fi, try using mobile data.
8. Deactivate Your VPN
Purpose: VPNs can sometimes interfere with app functionality, especially if the VPN’s server is experiencing issues or is in a restricted location.
What to do: Turn off your VPN and try using the app again. If the app works without the VPN, the issue may be related to the VPN service.
9. Restart Your Device
Purpose: Restarting your device can resolve many temporary glitches by refreshing the system and clearing any minor software issues.
What to do: Turn off your device, wait for about 5 minutes, and then turn it back on.
10. Wait and Try Again
Purpose: Sometimes, temporary server issues or network congestion can cause problems. Waiting a few hours before trying again can resolve these issues.
What to do: Close the app, wait for a few hours, and then reopen it to see if the issue is resolved.
11. Check if Your Android Device Is Rooted
For security reasons, World App does not support rooted Android devices. Rooting disables key protections and can expose your data and wallet to security threats.
If your device is rooted, you may see a warning and the app may not work correctly.
To fix this:
1. Unroot your device by following your device manufacturer's instructions; or
2. Use a different, non-rooted device to access World App.
3. Ensure all Android system updates are installed.
4. Reinstall World App from the Google Play Store.
5. Restart your device, then try again. If your device is no longer rooted but the issue persists, contact World App Support.
12. Check if Your iOS Device Is Jailbroken
World App requires a secure, unmodified iOS environment to function correctly. If your iPhone has been jailbroken, some built-in security protections are removed, which may put your data and wallet at risk.
If your device is detected as jailbroken, you will see a “Jailbreak detected” warning and the app may not work properly.
To fix this:
- Restore your device to its original iOS version using Apple’s official steps to remove the jailbreak; or
- Use an iPhone that has not been jailbroken to access World App.
- Make sure your device is updated to the latest version of iOS.
- Reinstall World App from the App Store.
- Restart your device and try again. If your device is no longer jailbroken but the issue continues, contact World App Support.

How do I use Earn?
Earn is a feature in World App that, where available, lets you deposit supported assets into on-chain lending protocols and track the rewards they generate over time. By depositing supported assets, such as Worldcoin (WLD), Digital Dollars (USDC), Ethereum (wETH), or Bitcoin (wBTC), you can automatically track earned rewards with no complicated setup or external apps.
Where Earn is supported
Earn is available in selected countries, and availability may vary by region. If the Earn feature does not appear in your Wallet tab, it may not be supported in your location.
To start earning:
- Open the Wallet tab and tap Earn.
- Choose a Program (e.g., Worldcoin, Digital Dollars (USDC), Ethereum (wETH), Bitcoin (wBTC)).
3. Tap Deposit, enter the amount, and Confirm.
4. Your rewards will update over time and appear in the Earn dashboard.
5. You can request to withdraw your assets anytime (the precise timing and pricing of your exit may depend on on-chain liquidity and protocol conditions).
Understanding APY
The reward rates you see are shown as APY (Annual Percentage Yield). The Total APY is a snapshot estimate calculated using the weighted average of your current APY rates across all programs where you have a balance in Earn. It is shown for informational purposes only.
The reward rates are variable, meaning they can go up or down, are subject to change at any time, and your balance may also change in value. The rates you receive vary depending on the rates of the protocol provider Morpho, the amount of assets you hold in each program, and any promotional rates. World App displays the current APY rate before you deposit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where do the rewards come from?
World App uses Morpho, a decentralized protocol that helps find the most competitive on-chain lending rates. Everything happens automatically in the background, using on-chain lending protocols selected by Morpho, so you can deposit and track your rewards without managing the underlying DeFi steps yourself. As with any on-chain activity, there are risks, including smart contract and market risks.
Human boosted rewards are promotional rewards for World App users who are World ID verified. These boosts are limited to the first 1000 WLD and first 1000 USDC in the Earn program. A full list of available rewards can be viewed on the third-party website, Merkl.
Do I need another wallet?
No. Everything is accessible directly from your World App.
Is Earn the same as the WLD / USDC Vault?
No, Earn is different and separate from the WLD and USDC Vaults. Earn is an additional feature in World App available to track your on-chain rewards.
How long do deposit/withdrawal transactions take?
Deposits and withdrawals are typically processed within a short time on-chain, but actual timing can vary based on network conditions, liquidity, and transaction fees.

How do invite rewards work?
Overview
When you invite friends to World App, you can earn rewards once they verify their World ID. Invite rewards are issued as Points, added to your balance in the World ID Rewards Mini App. Availability varies by country, and eligibility requirements may apply.
How do invite rewards work?
Share your unique invite code with friends who haven't yet joined World App and verified their World ID. Once your friend verifies their World ID with an Orb using your code, you'll receive your reward as Points in your World ID Rewards Mini App balance, usually shortly after they complete verification. In select countries, the invitee may also receive a reward - check your app to see what's available in your location.
Conditions
You will be eligible to receive an invite reward only if your friend:
- Enters your invite code before booking their Orb verification appointment
- Completes World ID verification at an Orb
- Meets all eligibility requirements
If your friend doesn't meet these requirements, a reward can't be granted for that invite.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many friends can I invite?
You can share your invite code with as many people as you like. The number of invites that earn a reward varies by person. You can see how many reward-eligible invites you have in the Invites Mini App. Once you reach your limit, additional invites won't earn further rewards.
Is there a reward for Credential referrals?
Credential referrals are no longer part of the Invites program. Invite rewards now apply to World ID verification with an Orb only.
How do I track my rewards?
- Open World App
- Open the Invites Mini App
- Tap Rewards to view your referral progress and rewards available to claim
Why didn't I receive my reward?
Rewards are granted only when your invited friend meets all eligibility requirements - entering your code before their appointment and completing Orb verification. If they don't qualify, a reward won't be issued.
Why don't I see the Invites option in my country?
Invites are available only in select countries. If the feature isn't available in your location, the option won't appear in your app. To check what's available to you, open World App.
Disclaimer: Invites rewards are offered at our sole discretion and are not available in all countries or to all users. The program may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time. To learn more, please refer to our Terms.

What is a Dollar Vault?
Overview
Dollar Vault is available to World ID-verified users. The Dollar Vault allows you to deposit USDC into an account as part of your non-custodial World Wallet. You may also be able to earn yield on USDC from third-party providers.
You are able to store your USDC in one of two account types:
- Vault: Your USDC are locked via a decentralized smart contract until you choose to unlock them. You may earn yield from third-party providers.

Earning Rewards in Worldcoin Vault
The World Foundation deploys decentralized smart contracts that deliver rewards on the WLD in your Vault. The smart contracts may have certain requirements, such as a maximum amount of WLD that may earn rewards, as well as the maximum rate at which you can earn rewards.
As seen in this example, if the maximum amount is 500 WLD, any WLD amount over 500 WLD in your Vault will not earn rewards:
These requirements will be stipulated on the Worldcoin Vault display within World App, as will the current rewards rate when you deposit WLD.
Note: The World Foundation may cancel this rewards program or change the rewards rate at any time.
Rewards are accrued continuously and distributed daily. These rewards will only be received by you when you withdraw your WLD out of your Vault.

Updates to the Airdrop Program
Disclaimer: The Airdrop Program is only available to World ID users who meet the eligibility requirements set forth in our Terms.
⚠️ Update as of June 1, 2026: WLD Airdrop cycles are no longer being created or renewed. At present, if you have an active cycle, you can continue claiming monthly WLD until it ends. Once your cycle ends, no new cycle will be created.
Overview
The Airdrop Program granted WLD tokens to unique humans who verified their World ID. At present, eligible users who enrolled before June 1, 2026 and claimed their first airdrop can continue claiming their monthly WLD portions until the end of their 12-month cycle.
Eligibility to continue claiming monthly WLD airdrops depends on the type of verification completed before June 1, 2026:
- Orb Verification: Provides the highest level of certainty that a user is a unique human. This option offers the highest amount of WLD.
- Credential Verification: Verification of an NFC-enabled passport or government ID as a Credential in World App. Credential verification provides a lower level of certainty, which means fewer tokens than Orb verification
Users who completed both verification types may be eligible to claim the highest combined token amount.
-
How to Claim WLD Airdrops
These steps apply to users with an active airdrop cycle (enrolled before June 1, 2026).
1. Open the Worldcoin Mini App in World App.
2. Claim your monthly portion: WLD becomes available to claim once a month, on the same date you first verified your World ID. You have one month to claim before the next airdrop becomes available, or before your 12-month cycle ends.
3. Verify: Tap Verify to confirm your World ID and complete the claim. The token status will change to Claimed when done.
-
Your WLD Claimable Amounts Explained
The amount of Worldcoin you may claim will be divided over 12 months. To claim portions of WLD, you’ll need to do so on a monthly basis. Please note that the amount is determined by the World Foundation and may fluctuate over time.
Information about WLD Airdrops can be found in the Worldcoin Mini App within your World App.
The Mini App has four tabs that are explained below. The Worldcoin Tab
It contains general information about the Worldcoin token and its distribution.

World Chain
What is World Chain and why do I have to migrate to it?
What is the World Chain Network?
World Chain is a new blockchain designed for humans, built to scale the World protocol and the broader Ethereum community to 1 billion people and beyond.
Migrating to World Chain will result in these benefits:
- Free transfers in World App for verified users
- Transactions will be completed at twice the speed of those on the Optimism network, ensuring faster and more efficient processing
World Chain is designed first and foremost to significantly increase capacity so new people can continue to join at scale, and existing users can enjoy faster, cheaper, and more reliable transactions.
How do I migrate World App assets to World Chain?
From October 2024, World App transactions will be taking place in the World Chain Network.
All World App users will need to migrate their existing app assets (tokens) from the Optimism Network into the World Chain Network. World App will prompt you to begin the migration process once it is ready.
To migrate to World Chain:
- Tap on Start migration
- The migration process will begin and should be done in minutes. Once it completes, you will see a confirmation screen, which will allow you to continue using the app as normal.
What will happen to transactions sent to me via the Optimism Network?
If you have already migrated to World Chain and someone sends you a transaction via the Optimism Network, World App will show you the following screen so you can migrate those assets to your wallet:
Simply tap the Understand button to get the migration started. Your assets will appear in the wallet shortly.
To avoid losing funds, please make sure future transactions are done on the World Chain Network.

- Fees
- Timestamp of the transaction
- Sender and receiver wallet addresses
Example of a transaction record found in the blockchain explorer
Troubleshooting
Transaction Not Found
If the transaction doesn’t appear, double-check the transaction hash or address to ensure it is correct. It can sometimes take a few moments for new transactions to appear on the blockchain.
Pending Transactions
If your transaction is still pending, it may take time depending on network congestion. You can monitor its progress in the same explorer.
Transaction Shows Completed but Funds Have Not Been Received
Transactions marked as completed in World App and/or on the blockchain may take some time to appear in the destination wallet or address. Please allow up to 48 hours and check again. If the funds have not arrived after this period, contact the destination wallet or centralized exchange’s support team for further assistance.

Why are crypto transactions irreversible?
Crypto transactions are permanent and cannot be reversed once they’re confirmed. This is a key feature of blockchain technology, which powers most cryptocurrencies.
This means that once funds are sent, they cannot be recovered unless the recipient chooses to send them back.
1. Blockchain is Unchangeable
Once a transaction is recorded on the blockchain (a public digital ledger), it cannot be changed or deleted. This is called immutability. It helps keep the network secure and prevents anyone from tampering with past transactions.
2. No Central Authority
Unlike banks, cryptocurrencies operate on decentralized networks with no single authority controlling the system. This means there is no bank or company that can reverse a transaction once it’s been processed.
3. Transactions are Final
When a crypto transaction is confirmed, it’s final. There are no chargebacks or cancellations like with credit card payments. Because transactions cannot be undone, it’s important to carefully review all details before sending funds.
4. Transaction Validation
Each transaction goes through a validation process. Once it’s confirmed by the network, it is permanently added to the blockchain.
5. Sufficient Balance is Required
A crypto transaction can only be processed if you have enough balance in your wallet to cover:
The amount you are sending
Any applicable network fees
If your balance is insufficient, the transaction will not go through.
How to Protect Yourself?
- Double-check the wallet address before sending funds.
- Confirm that you are using the correct blockchain network (chain). Sending funds to the correct address on the wrong network may result in permanent loss.
- Make sure the token you are sending is supported by the receiving wallet.
- Verify the amount before confirming the transaction.
- Only send funds to trusted recipients and be careful of scams.

User Data & Privacy
How does the Periodic Data Deletion Process work?
To protect your privacy and ensure we do not retain your information longer than necessary, we run a daily Periodic Data Deletion Process. This automated process identifies inactive accounts and removes personal data that is no longer needed to provide our services.
This article explains when an account becomes eligible for deletion, what data is removed, and what you need to do if you want your account included in this process.
When is an account considered inactive?
For an account to be eligible for automatic deletion, it must meet specific inactivity criteria.
An account is considered inactive if:
- The account has not been used for 24 months or more.
- The World ID has not been verified through an Orb.
- The account is not currently blocked due to fraud investigations.
- The account does not hold any funds (tokens).
Important: You must withdraw your funds first.
We cannot delete your data if your account still holds funds. If your account is inactive but still has a balance, it will not be included in the deletion process to protect your assets. If you would like your account data to be deleted, you must first withdraw your balance. You can do this by following the instructions in this article: How do I withdraw tokens?
What information is deleted?
Once an account meets the criteria above, our system permanently removes personal data that is not essential for legal compliance.
This includes:
- Profile information: Username, phone numbers used for backup or account recovery.
Please note: Once this information is deleted, the phone number can no longer be used for account recovery.
- Activity logs: User activity records and communication history.
- Support history: Previous support tickets and chat history.
- Device data: Device fingerprint data.
- Marketing data: Information used for marketing communications.
- Analytics data: Optional analytics events stored in our systems.
What information is retained?
We retain a limited amount of data only when required by law or for fraud prevention purposes. For example, we may retain certain records to comply with:
- Tax regulations
- Financial reporting obligations
- Investigations related to violations of our Terms of Service
How long does the process take?
The deletion process runs daily. Once your account becomes eligible (inactive for 24 months or more and holding no funds), the deletion of data across our systems is typically completed within 15 business days.
Can I request deletion sooner?
Yes. You do not need to wait 24 months for this automatic process. If you would like your data to be deleted sooner, follow these steps:
- Make sure your funds have been withdrawn.
-
Contact our Privacy Support Team through the in-app Support Chat or through our Privacy Portal.

What happens with my data after deletion?
You can choose to either delete your entire account or only delete optional data.
Difference between account deletion and optional data deletion
- Account deletion removes your full World App account, including any private keys and will make your World App, World ID, and any WLD unusable.
- Data deletion removes optional data from the World App backend, but allows you to continue using World App with less data.
-
Option A - Deleting your account
- Closing your World App and World ID is permanent and cannot be undone. Once deleted, you will lose access to your World App, World ID, and any associated WLD.
- Before deleting your account, make sure you have a backup method configured. If you delete your account without first setting up a backup, it cannot be recovered later. We strongly recommend reviewing our login methods guide to ensure your backup is properly set up.
- If you’re unable to access your account or experience issues while attempting to delete your World ID, please contact World App Support for help.
Before deleting your account, make sure you complete the following steps:
- Back up any important information you might need later (e.g., username, app settings).
- Cash out or transfer any balances if they apply to you through future World App financial features.
- Review any pending activity in the app and ensure it’s completed or canceled.
- Turn off optional features like push notifications if you want to stop receiving messages immediately.
Once you request deletion, the following happens:
- World App Profile: Your username and phone number will be permanently deleted.
- Orb Verification: Proof of ownership for your World ID will be deleted.
-
Device Data: NFC identifiers and device IDs tied to your World ID are removed.
- NFC (Near Field Communication) is a wireless technology that allows your phone to read information from a compatible card, device, or document located in close proximity — for example, when you tap your phone on your passport during verification. Most modern smartphones have NFC built in, and it needs to be turned on in your phone’s settings.
- Local Storage: All app data saved on your phone, iCloud, or Google Drive will be erased.
- Analytics Data (Optional): If you opted into app analytics, your data will be cleared, and tracking will be disabled.
- Push Notifications: All notification tokens and history will be deleted, and push notifications will be disabled.
- AI Training Opt-in: If you contributed data to help train AI models, that information will be permanently deleted.

Security & Token Safety
How do I export and use my private key?
Before exporting your private key, it’s important to understand what it is and how it works.
A private key is an alphanumeric code used to authorize transactions and prove ownership of a blockchain asset, mainly blockchain wallets. In simpler terms, a private key is like the master password to your cryptocurrency account —it’s what gives you control over your funds.
Your cryptocurrency itself is always stored on the blockchain, not within a wallet app. Instead, the wallet on your phone securely holds your private key, which allows you to manage your funds.
- 🔑 Think of it as the key to a safe: whoever has the private key can access the assets inside.
- 🔐 The private key represents the ownership of the wallet and should always be kept private. Sharing the private key means allowing anyone else to control your wallet.
- 💡 It’s different from a public key – your wallet address is also called a public key (you can share it to receive blockchain assets, like cryptocurrency), while the private key is your PIN (only you should have it).
- ⚠️ If you lose your private key, you lose access to your funds forever! There’s no "forgot password" option with self-custodial crypto wallets. Just like if you lose the key to your safe, you won’t be able to access the assets inside. As crypto wallets are secured by the latest cryptography, there won’t be a keysmith to help you out.
You can export your private key to your World Wallet. We recommend only exporting your private key if you fully understand what you are doing.
-
What are the uses of a private key?
1. Access Your Public Wallet
If you lose access to your World App account, your private key can help you regain access to the funds in your public wallet address, but not to your World App account. What you can do: Access your public wallet address and manage your funds. What you won’t be able to do: Access a World App account or World App features like Mini Apps. Some wallets allow you to import a wallet using the private key.
Example:
In MetaMask or Trust Wallet, you can go to Import Wallet, enter your private key, and gain access to a wallet. However, after importing the private key, you will see an EOA (Externally Owned Account) address—this is not your World App address. This additional step was taken for extra security. The EOA address is generated by your World App, but it is not where your funds are stored. To access and manage your funds, you must link your MetaMask wallet to a Safe UI wallet. For step-by-step instructions, see the Frequently Asked Questions section at the end of this article.
2. Sign Transactions
When you send crypto, your private key is used to digitally sign the transaction. This proves that you own the funds and authorizes the transfer.
You don’t manually enter your private key—your wallet application does this in the background.
3. Connect to Decentralized Apps (DApps)
Some platforms allow you to sign in using your wallet address and require signing by your private key. Please make sure that the DApp in question uses a public-private key pair to authenticate you without exposing your private key.
Use your private key only when necessary (like wallet recovery), and keep it offline to protect your assets.
Follow the instructions described below to find and export your private key.
-
Where do I find my private key in World App?
- Tap the Gear icon (⚙️) at the top of the screen to access the Settings menu
- Select Privacy & Legal (iOS) or Privacy (Android).
- Open Private Key
-
How can I unlock and export my private key?
Once you perform the steps listed above to find its location, proceed as follows:
- To initiate the unlocking process, tap Unlock private key
- Once you read and acknowledge the risk warnings, select the Understood button
- Follow the prompts to confirm your request to unlock the key
- Once confirmed, an unlocking period will begin
- A countdown timer will show you the time left to unlock the key
- This period is set to prevent potential attackers from stealing your private key
- When the private key is unlocked, it will be available for display for 72 hours
- You’ll see the options to either copy or reveal the key. Select your desired action
After 72 hours have passed, the key will be locked again. If needed, a new unlocking process must be performed.
REMEMBER: Any action involving your private key is risky. Never share it with anyone, or you could lose your wallet funds to theft. World App Support will never ask you for your private key.
-
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can I access my private key even if some features are blocked in my World App?
Yes, you can tap the Export Private Key option as shown in this example:
2. How can I keep my private key safe?
The best way to keep your private key safe is to never export it.
Since there is only one private key linked to your account, it is essential to store it securely. Losing it may mean losing access to your funds permanently.
To prevent this, we recommend:
Never sharing your private key with anyone. Storing it in a safe place, such as a secure password manager or offline storage. Using a trusted and secure cryptowallet that protects your private key.
By keeping your private key safe, you ensure that only you have control over your cryptocurrency.
3. Can I generate a new private key?
No. only one private key exists per account.
4. How do I import my private key into a wallet?
Below is an example using MetaMask, but any non-custodial wallet that supports the Ethereum protocol can be used.
Step 1: Import the private key into MetaMask
Copy the private key from World App Go to MetaMask (App or browser extension) Tap on “Account” on the upper part of the screen Choose “Add Account or Hardware Wallet” Press on “Import Account” Paste the World App private key Tap on “Import”
Note: The address shown in MetaMask as imported is the EOA address of your World App, not the World wallet address (where the funds are).
Example:
To gain access to your World wallet address, you’ll need to link MetaMask (or other non-custodial wallet) to Safe. See Step 2 below for more details.
Step 2: Navigate to Safe and link your MetaMaskGo to Safe Tap on “Connect” Select the “WalletConnect” wallet icon Select “MetaMask” Safe will redirect you to MetaMask (or your wallet) to confirm Tap on “Connect” Navigate back to Safe The World wallet address will be shown under Accounts Tap on “World Chain” The World wallet address will show up in Safe
Example:
If you’re having trouble navigating MetaMask or any other external platform, please reach out to their support team here: https://support.metamask.io/
Step 3: Network Fees - Deposit and bridge native ETH to the EOA address
When performing crypto transactions with a non-custodial wallet, users need to hold sufficient native tokens of the blockchain network to cover the network fees needed to perform transactions.
World App sponsors network fees for its users when performing crypto transactions on World Chain. However, once a user imports the private key into another non-custodial wallet, the user will sign transactions through that wallet and World App will no longer sponsor these fees.
To cover the network fees and perform transactions like sending or swapping tokens, users will need to deposit ETH to their EOA address (the one imported into the non-custodial wallet).
To bridge native ETH to World Chain, you can use:
World Chain Superbridge provided by Superbridge, a website-hosted user interface (the "Interface") provided by Blob Engineering Pte. Ltd.: Withdraw ETH to the EOA address on any of the networks presented on Superbridge ( ETH network would be the preferred option).
To bridge native ETH to the EOA address, please follow these actions:
Using the Ethereum network, deposit ETH to the EOA address imported into MetaMask (or other non-custodial wallet) When your ETH reaches your wallet on the ETH network, navigate to https://world-chain.superbridge.app/ Connect your non-custodial wallet (MetaMask) to the World Chain Superbridge World Chain Superbridge will send an authorisation request to your MetaMask wallet; navigate back to MetaMask and approve the wallet connection to Safe Return to World Chain Superbridge and select the networks: From ETH To World Chain Fill in the amount Check the bridge order preview and ensure it corresponds to the amount you’ve chosen Tap on “Review Bridge” Review the bridging details one more time before tapping on “Continue” Acknowledge that the receiving wallet address (your imported EOA) supports World Chain Start the bridge
Example:
IMPORTANT: World App does not have access to your private key, and does not maintain control over your wallet, digital tokens, or private keys. Users are responsible for the risk of loss of their private keys and neither TFH nor World App is able to recover such keys.
Translations may differ slightly from the original English content. For the most accurate information, please refer to the article's English version if any discrepancies occur.
How can I stay safe with my World wallet?
Keeping your World Wallet secure is essential. As a self-custodial wallet, you are responsible for protecting your device, your backups, and your credentials.
Follow these best practices to stay safe:
1. Protect your phone

What are phishing scams and how can I avoid them?
What is phishing?
-
- Phishing is a method for scammers to gain fraudulent access to your account or personal information.
- Avoid sharing personal information on Discord, Twitter, or any social network, not even with what appear to be official World or Tools for Humanity social media accounts. Only interact with World through support in World App.
- If you have been the victim of a phishing attack, please contact support. Also, please report suspicious messages via World App so that we may assist you and conduct an investigation.

What are best practices to avoid airdrop scams?
An airdrop is when a project distributes free tokens directly to users’ crypto wallets. While legitimate projects use airdrops for promotions, they are also commonly exploited in scams.
Scammers create fake airdrops to trick users into connecting their wallets and approving transactions. If the smart contract behind the airdrop is malicious, this can put your funds at risk or allow unauthorized access to your wallet.
Best practices to avoid airdrop scams
Only interact with verified projects: Before claiming an airdrop, confirm the project is legitimate by checking its official website and multiple verified social media channels.
Be cautious when connecting your wallet: Avoid connecting your wallet to unfamiliar or unverified smart contracts. If something doesn’t feel right, do not proceed.
Double-check links and URLs: Always review the URL carefully before clicking or tapping on it. Make sure it leads to the official website and has been shared through an official announcements channel.
Do your own research: Look for feedback from other users and community discussions to help determine whether the airdrop is legitimate.
Important: Only accept airdrops from verified profiles and sources you absolutely trust. If you are unsure, do not interact with the airdrop.
