How do invite rewards work?

Notice: The Invite Rewards Program has ended. Effective September 1, 2026, our referral program is no longer active. Any points successfully earned before September 2026 will remain available in your World ID Rewards Mini App balance, and can be used until they expire. You can still invite your friends to join World, but invite rewards will no longer be credited. This page is being kept active for reference purposes only.

Overview of the Invite Rewards Program

Before the program ended, when you invited friends to World App, you could earn rewards once they verified their World ID. Invite rewards were issued as Points, added to your balance in the World ID Rewards Mini App. Availability varied by country, and eligibility requirements may have applied.

How did invite rewards work?

You could share your unique invite code with friends who had not yet joined World App and verified their World ID. Once your friend verified their World ID with an Orb using your code, you would have received your reward as Points in your World ID Rewards Mini App balance, usually shortly after they completed verification. In select countries, the invitee may have also received a reward.

You could be eligible to receive an invite reward only if your friend:

  • Entered your invite code before verifying their World ID at an Orb
  • Your friend completed World ID verification at an Orb
  • Your friend met all eligibility requirements

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I still invite others to join World?

Yes, you can use the Invites Mini App. Just note that as of September 2026, invite rewards are no longer granted.

How many friends can I invite?

You can share your invite code with as many people as you like.

Why didn't I receive my reward?

Before September 1, 2026, Rewards were granted only when your invited friend met all eligibility requirements - entering your code before their Orb verification and completing it. If they didn't qualify, a reward was not issued.
