Depositing assets into your Virtual Account is simple: You can receive funds by sharing your account details. Any supported funds deposited will be converted and reflected in your World Wallet balance into the corresponding digital asset for your account type.
Note: The steps below vary depending on your account type and location.
How to receive deposits
USD Virtual Account
- Head to the Wallet tab and select Virtual account.
- Choose the account where you want to receive funds and tap on Account Details.
- You can also tap Share details to send your account information through other channels (e.g., email, chat).
You’ll receive a notification in the app as soon as the funds are deposited.

How to receive funds (Pay In)
- Go to the Wallet tab and select Virtual Account.
If you have more than one Virtual Account, tap the currency in the top left to change it from US Dollars to ARS.
Tap Account Details to view your local account identifier (e.g., CVU for Argentina, BreB for Colombia, CLABE for Mexico).
- Copy your local account identifier or tap Share All Details.
- Ask your bank or payer to send a transfer in your local currency to your account identifier.
- Once received, funds are automatically converted into the corresponding digital asset and added to your wallet. Check your app for the current minimum transfer amount. No fees currently apply.
How to withdraw funds (Pay Out)
- Go to the Wallet tab.
- Tap Send or Withdraw.
Select your local digital asset.
Select bank transfer.
- Enter your local account identifier as the destination.
Confirm the amount and complete the withdrawal. Your digital assets will be converted to local currency and sent to your bank. No fees currently apply.
How deposits are processed
When assets are sent to your Virtual Account, they are handled by our trusted providers:
USD Virtual Account
- Lead Bank: issues your account details for receiving deposits.
- Bridge: converts your deposit from fiat (US dollars) into USDC and deposits the USDC into your World Wallet.
Ripio Virtual Accounts in Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico:
- Ripio: processes your deposits and withdrawals, and converts between your local currency and the corresponding digital asset.
Important:
- If you are sending money from your own bank account, the name on your bank account must match the name on your Virtual Account in World App.
- Processing times vary depending on your bank and when the payment is sent, usually taking 1–3 business days.

If you don’t see your funds, please contact the Support Team directly through World App, so we can investigate.

When will my funds arrive?
- ACH transfers: Usually take 1–3 business days. If it’s a same-day ACH sent before 4 p.m. EST, it should arrive that same day.
Wire transfers: They’re usually completed within a few hours and always the same day if sent before 5 p.m. EST.
What is the minimum amount that I can send or receive?
The minimum amount depends on your account type. For USD Virtual Accounts: $1 USD. For Ripio Virtual Accounts (Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico), check your app for the latest minimum amounts.
