How do I become a World Operator?

Learn how to apply to become a World Operator and how to check the status of your application.

Who are World Operators?

World Operators are individuals who operate Orbs worldwide and can earn Worldcoin or fiat currency for every user they help verify.

The Operators are not World employees and run their operations independently while being expected to follow a strict Code of Conduct that emphasizes complying with laws and protecting the public.

How do I apply?

Visit the Become a World Operator page to apply and get more details about the application process.

It's recommended that you share a link to your website or LinkedIn profile, as well as a short description of your experience or existing infrastructure that you can leverage in order to become a successful World Operator.

Once submitted, your application will be carefully reviewed by our team. Please be patient during this process. If selected to move on to the next step, you will be contacted via email.

What's the status of my Operator application?

To check on the status of your application, you can check the Orb App.

If you've submitted an application and haven't heard back, hang tight. Our team goes through hundreds of applications at any given moment. Also, depending on the region, we may already have a surplus of active Operators, which may put your application on pause.

If your application has been approved, please wait as it gets reviewed by various teams. Once your application is approved, you should receive communication updates on the next steps.
