World ID is a privacy-first decentralized identity protocol. This means it can be used as a digital passport that can prove you are a unique and real person, without sharing personal data like names and emails. With your World ID, you'll be able to sign in to authenticate into web, mobile, and decentralized applications, and privately share your personhood verifications including biometrics for the maximum level of assurance.

If you downloaded the World App and verified with biometrics using an Orb, then you have a World ID. You can find your World ID card in your World App under the World ID tab.
