Can I delete my iris code?

When we generate your iris code, your iris image goes through a complex algorithm that transforms it into a unique string of numbers. This transformation is irreversible, so it’s not possible to recreate your original iris image from the iris code. This process ensures that your personal information stays secure.

After the iris code is created, it is separated and encrypted into different pieces, known as AMPC shares. These shares are essential for maintaining the integrity of our system. Importantly, they are entirely anonymized, meaning they can’t be used to identify you or reveal any personal details like your name or email. The purpose of these AMPC shares is simply to confirm your uniqueness as a user while fully respecting your privacy. Your personal information remains safe and confidential.

The transformation of an iris code into AMPC shares means that deletion is technically not feasible.
