Do you share my data?
We do not share any personal user data (including biometric data) with anyone who is not working on or assisting with the World project. And we never will. The Tools for Humanity and the World Foundation Privacy Statements are very clear about this.
Do you sell my data?
No. Neither Tools for Humanity nor the World Foundation will never sell any personal data. This includes biometric data.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. To ensure that your data and assets are secure, please do not let others handle your device and do not share your wallet address. People working on the World project and Orb Operators will never ask you for your device or wallet address.
To learn more about how the World project approaches data collection, handling, and privacy, visit world.org/privacy.
Is my data safe if the Orb is stolen?
Yes. Your data does not remain on the Orb itself. All information is always deleted from the Orb, including images, once it has been sent to the person’s device. To read more frequently asked questions about the Orb, please visit this blog post: The Orb FAQs.
More information about how your data is secured can be found in the World White Paper.
